Today is Earth Day. If this news does not come in the newspapers then hardly anyone remembers! News media has to bear the responsibility of reminding before awakening awareness. Because Earth Day celebrated on April 22 every year, nothing more than just a formality!
The Earth is a very broad word in which water, greenery, wildlife, pollution and other factors are also involved. Protecting the Earth means taking the initiative to protect it. Neither social awareness was ever shown nor was there any solid initiative at the political level. Actually the earth is a very broad word, it includes water, greenery, wildlife, pollution and other factors related to it.
To save the Earth means to take the initiative to protect all these. But for this one should be made a day, is it fair? We should take some measures to protect us every day as Earth Day.
When the whole world celebrates Earth Day on April 22, it is celebrated in America as tree day. Earlier, Earth Day was celebrated two days (March 21 and April 22) in the whole world in the year. But it was decided to be celebrated from 1970 to 22 April.
The International Earth Day, celebrated on March 21, is supported by the United Nations, but its importance is more scientific and environmental. It is celebrated as the symbol of the spring of the Northern Hemisphere and the southern hemisphere. US Senator Gordon Nelson has been on April 22 after World Earth Day celebrations. They were concerned about the environment and used to try to create a path to raise awareness among the people.
It can not be denied that there is a huge lack of awareness in the nation and the world about Earth Day! There are no steps taken in this direction at both the social or political level. Some environmental lovers have been trying their level, but it should not be a subject subject to concern for any individual, organization or society! All will have to sacrifice something in that matter.
To save the Earth's environment, we can not do much, at least do so, deny the use of polythene, reduce paper use and boost the recycling process! Because the more bad content will be recycled, the lesser the earth's garbage will be less.
